A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Centre of Excellence for Leather Skill Bangladesh Ltd. (COEL) and Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), India at International Convention City Bashundhara on 3rdNovember 2016. Syed Nasim Manzur, Chairman of COEL and Mr. Vikas Singh, IRS, Executive Director of FDDI signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. Through this MoU COEL will receive technical assistance from FDDI, India for various trainings, academic education, diploma courses and research works for the leather sector.

Nazmul Hassan Sohail, Vice President (HR & Admin) of LFMEAB, Mr, Md. Nasir Uddin, Vice Chairman of COEL, Mr. A.K.M Afzalur Rahman, Director of COEL, Mr. Md.Mominul Ahsan, CEO of COEL, Ms. Kazi Roushan Ara, Head of Operation of COEL, Mr. Mustain Zahir , Head of Research & Development of COEL, Mr. Md.Arifur Rahman Bhuiyan, Training Manager of COEL and Mr. Aritra Das from FDDI, India were also present in the MoU Signing ceremony.
